RHP Adam Jung (Victoria Mariners) has signed a Letter of Internt to play at Southern Alabama University of the NCAA Div 1 Sunbelt Conference. Jung is currently a Sophomore at nationally ranked Central Arizona Junior College. At Central, Adam was the workhorse in the starting rotation, logging more innings (75.2) than any other pitcher on the team. Adam finished the regular season with a 2.97 ERA to go with a 5-1 Win Loss record and 63 strikeouts. Quite an amazing story, as Adam was plagued by arm problems in his Junior and Senior seasons of high school. Jung was also courted by Hawaii, Oral Roberts, Southern California and Texas Arlington.
