The Big League Experience, in partnership with MIZUNO, Baseball Canada, Baseball B.C, and the BCPBL is excited to announce that they will offer the “MIZUNO Elite Player” information seminar during the 3rd Annual OPENING DAY Super Clinic. Former MLB pitcher, Chris Reitsma, will team up with former MLB Allstar catcher and current Catching Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Bob Didier to discuss “Pitcher/Catcher Relationship” as well as a session on “Setting up the Hitter”. Chris Pritchett, hitting and fitness specialist, will present “Creating the PROFESSIONAL Hitter- the Mental Side” as well as “Fitness for the ELITE Athlete”. MLB scouts, Brandon Newell and Marty Lehn will discuss “Preparing to Showcase; What scouts are looking for!” In additional, a special guest speaker will present “Nutrition for the Elite Athlete” and answer all your questions about nutritional supplements. Finishing up the classroom sessions, will be a presentation by SPORTSWORX, a company which specializes in helping college bound athletes and their families understand and identify scholarship opportunities. (Parents are welcome and invited to attend this session at no charge.) The Elite Player information clinic is designed for elite players, ages 15 and older and will be held during the OPENING DAY SUPER CLINIC at Southridge School in South Surrey, B.C., January 30th, from 10 am to 4 pm.
