The 2012 Whalley Junior Chiefs will look to develop further after last year’s return to the league. With a new name and logo and strong ties to Whalley and Cloverdale the coaching staff likes the teams upside.
A versatile group of players including infielders Cole Hunt, Ryan Pouwells, Kyle McComb, Sam Mitchell, Andrew Callegari, Alex Arki, as well as catchers Colton Wright and Max Robichuad, will make us quick and athletic.
Speed in the outfield with Connor Chorpita, Jacob Robazza, Will Gladwell, along with Daniel Singer, Kevin Carbonneau, and returning Shane Younker should be an asset.
Returning pitcher Brandon Bohn along with Bryant Pawliw and Mathew Anderson, as well as the rest of the staff will give us a good mix on the mound.
This year’s team looks forward to competing and challenging for a league championship. |
