Two CCBC players were drafted in this years 2012 MLB First Year Player Draft. LHP Shane Dawson of the Prairie Baseball Academy was selected in the 17th round by the Toronto Blue Jays. RHP Adam Paulencu (VIBI Mariners / Embry-Riddle University) was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 26th round.
