According to the College Baseball Insider, Sophomore Chase Larsson of the North Delta Blue Jays has signed a Letter of Intent to play with Florida Gulf Coast University for the 2008-09 season. Chase Larsson, a member of the Jr. National Team was drafted in the 18th round in 06 and played at Odessa College as a freshman and is currently enrolled at St Petersburg CC. Florida Gulf Coast University is currently in the NCAA Div 1 reclassifying period and play in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Oklahoma University Sooners announced that LHP Justin (J.R.) Robinson (Langley Blaze) signed for the 2008-2009 seaon. Quote from the Sooners webite "Robinson was tabbed the No. 2 junior college player in the state of New Mexico by PG after he helped lead New Mexico J.C. to a national runner-up finish in 2007. Robinson was 12-1 in 12 starts and struck out 90 batters in 86 1/3 innings pitched. "
