The 2012 BCPBL season kicks off with doubleheaders at five parks this Saturday, April 7th. Defending champions Langley Blaze will host the North Shore Twins with the first game at McLeod Park 12pm start time. On the island, the Victoria Mariners will play the Nanaimo Pirates at Serauxmen Stadium while Parksville Royals will travel down to Victoria to play the Eagles.
 
On the lower mainland the Okanagan As will play the Vancouver Cannons at Queens Park in New Westminster and the Whalley Chiefs will host the Abbotsford Cardinals at Whalley Stadium.
 
On Sunday, the Cardinals, Cannons and North Delta Blue Jays host doubleheaders.
