LHP David Otterman, graduate of the Coquitlam Reds program and the University of British Columbia became the 2nd Canadian and 1st BCPBL grad to be drafted in the 2012 MLB First Year Players Draft. David was drafted in the 7th round by the Milwaukee Brewers.
 
C Rowan Wick, a graduate of the Vancouver Cannons, became the 3rd Canuck drafted and 2nd BCPBL grad when selected in the 9th round by the St.Louis Cardinals.
